This PR fixes updates to in-memory task results and progress evicting other cached tasks. With this, existing entries can be updated at capacity and new task IDs still evict the oldest entry.
Fixes #700.
All 385 tests and the repository pre-commit checks pass. Four regression cases fail before the fix.
