| Installer | Requires | |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Luna-<version>-windows-x64-setup.exe |
Windows 10 or 11, x64 |
| macOS | Luna-<version>-macos.dmg |
macOS 26 or later, Apple silicon |
Both are on the latest release. Luna updates itself.
The Windows installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC": choose More info, then Run anyway. The macOS app is signed and notarized.
With Also save on the source drive on in Settings (off by default), each
report is also written to Luna\<report name>\ at the root of the source
drive (D:\Luna\…, /Volumes/<drive>/Luna/…), unless the report destination
is already on that drive.
Clip warnings and unreadable files stay out of the report unless Show problems in reports is on; the results screen and the run logs always list them.
Colour in Settings sets the thumbnails: Rec.709, None (the camera's log as
recorded) or a .cube LUT, with the last five LUTs in its menu. Camera look
uses the look a clip was recorded with: the LUT of a Blackmagic RAW clip when the
camera applied it ("Apply LUT in File"), the LUT a Sony VENICE 2 or BURANO stored
in the clip, or the look of an ARRI ALEXA 35 or ALEXA Mini LF clip as the camera's
monitor output showed it.
