I build local-first software, and I learn systems by reimplementing them from scratch instead of reaching for the library.

Metatron — Local Agent Orchestrator A local GUI for coordinating native Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, and Pi coding sessions: a Lead assigns bounded work, writers work in separate Git worktrees, and nothing integrates without human review and approval.
Agent infrastructure — Custom tools for agentic development. An orchestrator and deterministic workflow:
- Metatron — orchestrator for native agent harnesses (above)
- workflowz — a deterministic workflow runner for coding agents; no supervisor LLM, the engine follows a workflow you author
From-scratch systems (mostly Zig) — LLMs, solvers, and artificial life, rebuilt until the internals make sense:
- zlm — a small LLM from scratch: tensor library, autograd, BPE tokenizer, transformer, training loop. No ML frameworks
- zolver — a GTO poker solver for heads-up post-flop Hold'em (CFR/DCFR, full game tree)
- Pneuma — an artificial-life simulator inspired by Tierra, with an energy + escalating-challenge system to fight stagnation
Tools for writing:
- Slugline — a fast, keyboard-driven screenplay editor for Linux. Plain Fountain in, submission-quality PDFs out. Shipped, with releases
- Babel — another screenwriting app that is more portable
