The 2.2 release notes said the database schema did not change. Operaton 2.2 raises the schema version from 7.24 to 7.25 (operaton/operaton commit 1789c090ec).

Verified between v2.1.6 and v2.2.0 in engine/src/main/resources/org/operaton/bpm/engine/db:

  • upgrade/*_engine_7.24_to_7.25.sql (all 7 databases) contain only insert into ACT_GE_SCHEMA_LOG values ('1400', CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, '7.25.0')
  • create/activiti.*.create.engine.sql change only the initial schema log row (7.24.0 → 7.25.0)
  • Liquibase changelog adds changeset 7.24-to-7.25 and tag 7.25.0
  • no other files in the db directory changed

So tables, columns and indexes are unchanged. The section now says this and points to the operaton-sql-scripts-7.25.0.tar.gz release asset.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

The 7.24 to 7.25 upgrade scripts only add an ACT_GE_SCHEMA_LOG entry;
tables, columns and indexes are unchanged.
