I am a Systems & Product Engineer. I write code because it’s my craft, my obsession, and my only real hobby.
Over five years at VK, I grew from shipping mini-apps to driving DevRel, shaping platform architecture and developer experience for thousands of external engineers.
My stack follows the problem. Right now, my focus is on heavy-duty Go backend services, distributed analytics pipelines (ClickHouse + Kafka), and embedded systems (Java Card for my Master's thesis). I am fluent down to the V8 engine internals in TypeScript, but for custom protocols, firmware, or edge robotics, I reach for C, C++, and Python.
Engineering philosophy
I believe code is an art form. I know exactly how to squeeze a web server onto an ESP32, but I always choose business logic and maintainability over extreme optimization — unless the two align, which is when I enter my absolute prime. I apply that same ruthless minimalism to interfaces, obsessively stripping away clutter until zero friction remains. I build systems to be resilient, but when unpredictable incidents hit, production chaos doesn't drain me; it triggers my flow state.
Shipping since I was a teen
I've been building at the intersection of low-level systems and real products for as long as I can remember.
Seven days into my freshman year, I got frustrated with how broken and inconvenient our university's schedule was, so I built a replacement. That quick hack evolved into Studenfy — a complete digital ecosystem for the campus. It eventually secured an official partnership with the university, integrating student SSO, administrative workflows for ordering official documents, and even running its own modular mini-app runtime.
Long before that, I was hacking within tight hardware boundaries. In 2018, I wrote C++ firmware for drones under extreme memory constraints, having to hand-roll custom linked lists just to fit the logic onto microcontrollers. In 2019, I also built MGSL — an automated CS:GO matchmaking platform that dynamically orchestrated on-demand game servers via hosting APIs, paired with a custom C++ server plugin to stream live match telemetry over WebSockets.
Because I enjoy untangling complex problems, I write about them. Some of my publications:
- Own Firewall Operator for Docker (Go, Linux netns, nftables)
- Zero-Knowledge Proof on Graphs (Cryptography, Math)
- New Outbreak of h2Miner Worms Exploiting Redis RCE Detected (Infosec, Redis)
Let's talk about distributed systems, V8 quirks, or smart cards.
