I've pointed my local install to this commit and am no longer seeing the timeout issues. Though I'd like others to try it out and see if this correctly deals with the issue with this endpoint. I'll also tidy it up as there is definitely too much woffle.
Tests were ran for timing so 30 could be good enough
No more retrying on read timeouts as they generally speaking, still go through and they could retry up to 5 times.
