[2026.10.7] release: libdb 2026.10.7.2 (LTS patch) - #260

The second patch release of the 2026.10.7 LTS line. Fixes only; the region, database and log formats, the soname and the ABI are unchanged. - DB_TXN_SERIALIZABLE committed write skews: three missed rw-conflicts (#258, from #246 and #257). - Recovery of many prepared transactions ran out of lockers while other stripes had free ones (#256, from #255). - An equal-key put over a deleted key (#239, R1) or an all-deleted duplicate set (#245, R2) kept the deleted key's bytes under a non-identity bt_compare. Version sites: dist/RELEASE, meson.build, dist/meson.build and dist/meson/db_subs.json. Regenerated with s_config, s_include, s_windows and s_android; the output changed only version lines. Adds the upgrade note and the releases.toml line.

Gates 1-5, 7 (pending publish), L1-L4 and the soak on Linux x86_64, FreeBSD x86_64 and FreeBSD aarch64 against v2026.10.7.1, plus the per-host raw summaries. Result: GO.

lts/2026.10.7at f56b6c4 after #248, #245, #256, #258 and #239 merged.It touches only the version sites (
dist/RELEASE,meson.build,dist/meson.build,dist/meson/db_subs.json), their regenerated outputs (version lines only), the upgrade noteupgrade_2026_10_7_2.mdwith its_meta.tomlentry, and thereleases.tomlline.The qualification record (gates 1–5, 7, L1–L4 and the soak) follows on this branch as
test/audit/QUAL-2026.10.7.2.md. Tagging and publishing wait for it.
