CS student at the University of Waterloo (Fall 2026, first year). I build native software for Apple platforms, low-level tools, and things that help people focus instead of scroll.
Looking for a Summer 2027 co-op in software engineering.
- WatDash: a SwiftUI dashboard for Mac, iPhone and iPad that turns a Waterloo term into one screen: classes, deadlines, office hours, and a grade engine that projects my average. Hand-written RFC 5545 calendar parser, no dependencies.
- Drast: a statically typed, indentation-scoped systems language that compiles to C++ for Arduino and other embedded targets, with a Rust-inspired ownership checker.
- SonicOS: an attention-respecting operating system in Rust that locks you into one time-boxed task at a time.
- Malvon: a WebKit web browser for macOS.
- Second Sight: built at HackerRivals Toronto (Aug 2026). Catches typos in high-stakes forms by comparing what's typed in any app against an ID read with Amazon Textract.
- Accelerometer: Arduino UNO R4 firmware plus a SwiftUI app that streams and charts MPU6050 telemetry over UDP.
I also write small, careful apps for old hardware, like Postview, a PDF viewer for OS X 10.9.
