Hey, I'm Vans 👋

Chukwubuikem Wisdom · self-taught software engineer · Enugu, Nigeria

I design and run backend infrastructure, deployment systems and payment rails for products used by developers and businesses. I like the unglamorous parts: uptime, migrations, and the stuff that has to just work.

What I'm building

  • Spluur: a cloud platform for African developers. Deployments, domains, VPS, managed databases, Redis, email and billing in one place.
  • Open source: skiiyo (backend), plus smaller tools and extensions.
  • And other cool stuff on the way.

How I got here

Computer technician and repairs, then IT support, networking and Linux, then software engineering. Now I build backend systems and the frontends on top of them, with a strong focus on reliability, automation and deployment. There's always another layer to learn and something new to build.
