I've added coalfields and optional abandoned workings for Minecraft 1.10.2, ready for the next beta.
Coal forms several thin beds separated by rock, with gentle folds, fault offsets and local splits. The fields favour suitable geology and can follow Mineralogy's sedimentary rocks, but Mineralogy is still optional. There is still 15% ordinary background coal for early play.
The optional workings have a surface entrance, ladders, short galleries, timber supports and old rails. They can follow an iron seam or one principal coal bed, and remain off by default.
Existing iron settings, edited catalogues, saved world profiles and generated terrain are preserved. The separate coal catalogue is not silently added to older worlds.
This now uses published OreSpawn 4.1.4.110021, pinned to its public Curse Maven file and official checksum. Its exact-host API keeps plain stone separate from granite, diorite and andesite. Local dependency candidates still cannot be published.
The automated checks pass with that public dependency: 69 Java tests, the full coal and iron policy matrices, imported settings, reloads, later chunks, Mineralogy, mine safety, old-world upgrades and packaged client/server checks. Two clean builds produced identical jars. Agent notes, local jars, worlds and generated test output are excluded.
The release action defaults to beta, while validation remains its default mode and publication still needs explicit confirmation. I'll merge once the checks pass, then publish the beta through that action.
