This brings the released Forge 1.20.6 version forward to Minecraft 1.21.1 and Forge 52.1.0, with the world-migration safety fix included. The version is 3.1.1.121011.
The port keeps raw metals, Kiri's overlays, filled buckets, content modes and the existing gameplay fixes. Overlapping copper crafting uses vanilla forms, while old Base Metals copper blocks and items stay registered and shared ingredients accept both versions.
Modern worlds no longer enter numeric-ID conversion just because an old backup exists. Current player data is kept, genuine old-world upgrades retain their saved registry maps, and chunk reading supports native LZ4, external chunks and empty regions.
Most of the file changes are Minecraft 1.21's move to singular data-folder names. The registry still has the same 360 blocks, 1,127 items and 72 fluids; the eleven OreSpawn rules are unchanged.
The local build, 98 unit tests, all 43 GameTests, generated-data checks, release-JAR audit and Eclipse isolation pass. Upgrade checks cover both 1.10 lines, 1.12 and the later releases through 1.20.6. The migration regressions were red before the fix and green afterwards, with first loads, reloads, later-opened chunks and modern-world controls checked on disposable copies.
