Currently:
- cs and math @ UVA
- TA for computer systems & organization and data structures & algorithms
- ML@UVA officer
- theCourseForum developer
- learning how to cook
- Coordinate cracker for Minecraft - A fast GPU-based block rotation cracker to determine a minecraft base's location 11x faster than modern scanners. Found 6 bases and 1000s of shulkers!
- Cracking-remedy (WIP) - A so-called remedy for the above and alternate coordinate leaks; very light mod for Minecraft.
- Exploding Kittens AI - Started this to beat my cousins. Built a C++ simulator running around 180,000 games/sec to test strategies through Monte Carlo, eventually switched to evolution-based strategies for 98% winrate. PPO got 56%. Finally beat my cousins after 6 years
☺️ - ML@UVA competition platform - Python + AWS infrastructure to grade models on accuracy, runtime, memory, and submission size. The competition received 213 submissions, and is a whole lot more customizable than Kaggle!
- UVA's GirlsHooHack '26: A Room of Our Own - A community for women in hardware, with a parts library so nobody buys the same microcontroller twice and a Gemini-powered project suggester. Django on AWS with Terraform and CI/CD. Won Best Domain at the hackathon.
- VTHacks 14: Not An Insider (Just Lucky) - Built a prediction-market backend that checks identity and affiliations using GoDaddy's ANS service and PostgreSQL/Supabase. You can't insider trade anymore!
- HooHacks 2026: AI Investment Coach - Built a Django paper-trading simulator with an AI coach, historical news, and a dashboard, deployed on AWS.
- Languages: Python, C++, C, Java, SQL, CUDA
- Web and databases: Django, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Supabase, HTML/CSS
- Cloud and tools: AWS (Amazon Bedrock, Lambda, ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC), Docker, Linux, Git
- Data analysis: NumPy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit-learn, Monte Carlo tree search, evolutionary algorithms
- Service deployment (probably for hackathons): Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Github Workflows
- Teaching algorithms, data structures, and computer systems for courses enrolling 300+ students.
- Working on theCourseForum, the UVA course-review site I used to pick my own classes.
- Finding pasta and omelette recipes
- Finding new card games
- Reading The Art of War by Sun Tzu
