Refine workout focus while preserving RepForge’s glass identity - #95
Refine workout logging and dashboard readability while preserving RepForge’s violet background lighting and graded glass material. Home retains its time-of-day greeting and saved name, reacts to name edits in Profile, and wraps long names at large text sizes. Weight and reps remain paired when readable, retain 48px stepper targets, and stack for large text. Session history now follows the inputs, with Log set anchored at the bottom.
Use a green intensity scale for completed activity, with matching calendar cells and legend. Improve chart labels, supporting text, focus/pressed feedback and responsive summaries. Update the affected label assertions and reviewed visual baselines. Extract the streak and muscle-volume layouts into smaller widgets, render empty progress for zero/non-finite values, and explicitly test large-text input stacking.
Affected screen, workout-entry, accessibility-layout and health/card tests passed locally.
Changed-file Flutter analysis and release-readiness checks passed.
Refreshed and verified the three affected visual baselines.
Full local regression suite: 1,337 tests passed, including saved-name loading, live Profile name changes, long names, zero/non-finite progress, and large-text input stacking.
GitHub security, release-readiness and code-quality checks passed.
Debug APK built for 371d6ce, separate debug identity verified, and artifact uploaded. Remaining CI work may still be running.
Debug app review
Download the updated debug APK for commit 371d6ce, including the restored personalized greeting and review fixes. Extract the ZIP and install app-debug.apk to update RepForge (Debug).
Review the saved name/greeting, background/glass lighting, green activity calendar, paired inputs, large text, session-history spacing, and logging/rest/navigation flows on a phone.
Release notes
Added user-visible notes under Unreleased in root CHANGELOG.md.
The change refines shared styling and controls across the app. It also updates the Home dashboard, workout-entry inputs, and analytics screens, with responsive layouts, accessibility semantics, and widget-test coverage.
Theme colors and typography change. Shared components update button, card, label, progress-bar, and navigation behavior. Related UI expectations use the updated label casing.
Home dashboard and activity summaries CHANGELOG.md, workout-logger/lib/screens/home_screen.dart, workout-logger/lib/screens/widgets/activity_heatmap.dart, workout-logger/lib/screens/widgets/body_heatmap.dart, workout-logger/test/ui_refinement_test.dart
The Home screen changes its heading, streak card, statistics, muscle-volume layout, workout list, and weekly-insights presentation. Statistics and muscle summaries adapt to text scale and width. Heatmap cells and legend use a shared green intensity scale.
Workout input layout and controls workout-logger/lib/screens/widgets/exercise_input_section.dart, workout-logger/lib/screens/workout_flow_screen.dart, workout-logger/test/screens/exercise_input_section_text_scale_test.dart, workout-logger/test/userflow_workout_logging_test.dart
Number fields appear above separate 48-pixel stepper buttons. The input layout adds scaling, semantics, and accessible tooltips. Tests cover paired-input alignment, minimum text size, touch targets, and updated labels.
Analytics charts and responsive controls workout-logger/lib/screens/analytics_screen.dart, workout-logger/lib/screens/widgets/analytics_overview.dart, workout-logger/test/analytics_screen_test.dart, workout-logger/test/ui_refinement_test.dart
Analytics controls use text buttons with selected semantics. Charts and labels receive presentation updates, and the frequency grid adapts to text scale. Existing record and volume calculations remain unchanged.

Explanation
The title "Refine workout focus while preserving RepForge’s glass identity" is related to the changeset. The changes refine workout logging and dashboard screens while keeping the glass and violet styling, as the summaries and objectives describe. The title is broad and does not name the main pieces, such as the green activity scale, the Home dashboard restructure, or the paired input layout. That makes it partially related, not fully specific.

Remove the redundant ternary on fontWeight.
Both branches return FontWeight.w500, so selected no longer affects the weight. Use a plain value. The selected state is still shown by color and border.

Review comments at @workout-logger/lib/screens/widgets/floating_nav_bar.dart:

Review comments at @workout-logger/lib/screens/widgets/rf_widgets.dart:
- Around line 955-957: Guard zero-volume normalization in the code that builds
`normalizedVols` and supplies values to `RFProgressBar`: when `maxVol` is not
positive, use zero instead of dividing by it, so neither consumer receives NaN.
Ensure `RFProgressBar` also handles non-finite values before calling `.round()`
in its semantics value calculation.

- Around line 60-61: Shorten the inline comment in the exercise input section
test to one line while retaining its meaning; only TODO comments may span
multiple lines.
- Around line 111-139: Add a widget test alongside the existing
`ExerciseInputSection` layout tests that renders paired inputs at 360dp width
with 2.0 text scale and a three-digit weight. Assert that the reps field appears
below the weight field, verifying the `Column` stacking behavior rather than
only checking for exceptions.

Use const for modified static TextStyle values.
These styles contain only literals and AppColors or FontWeight constants. Use const TextStyle(...) wherever the style has no runtime-dependent fields. This follows the repository convention and avoids recreating identical style objects during builds.
As per coding guidelines, use const constructors wherever possible.
