Adds typed support for the Speech Understanding
action_itemsfeature (ActionItemsRequest,ActionItem,ActionItemsResponse) toSpeechUnderstandingFeatureRequestsandSpeechUnderstandingFeatureResponsesin the AssemblyAI Node SDK.While Speech Understanding features like
translation,speaker_identification,custom_formatting, andsummarizationwere already typed underspeech_understanding.requestandspeech_understanding.response(and mentioned in comments insrc/types/llm-gateway/index.ts),action_itemswas missing from the SDK's TypeScript types. Settingaction_itemsinTranscriptParamscaused TypeScript compiler errors, and receivingspeech_understanding.response.action_itemsrequired type assertions.This brings the Node SDK to full parity with the AssemblyAI API,
assemblyai-mcp, and the Python SDK.Changes
